Pulmonologist

Dr. Goel, a distinguished pulmonologist, graduated with an MBBS in 1988 and an MD in 1992 from King George's Medical College, now known as King George's Medical University in Lucknow. He holds a Diploma in Interventional Pulmonology from the University of Lille, France. His qualifications also include fellowships in Intensive Care Medicine from Erasme University Hospital in Brussels, Belgium, and Sleep Medicine from Prince Royal Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia. He is a fellow of the National College of Chest Physicians, the Indian Sleep Disorders Association, and the Indian Association of Bronchology. Additionally, he is certified as an Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider by the American Heart Association. Dr. Goel has been trained in advanced techniques such as Endobronchial Ultrasound-guided Procedures, including EBUS-TBNA and Radial Probe Ultrasound-guided EBUS-RP biopsy, with a specialization in Cryo Biopsy technology. As an esteemed guest speaker and course director, he has actively contributed to major national conferences and symposiums in India related to Pulmonology, Bronchology, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Goel has conducted numerous conferences, workshops, and symposiums as a course director, introducing noninvasive ventilation and sleep medicine in India and pioneering a training program on Bronchoscopy in the ICU for intensivists. With 25 publications in national and international journals, he has received recognition from the National College of Chest Physicians for his research in Pulmonary Interventions. Dr. Goel has also served as a past Executive Member of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (Delhi and NCR). His special interests encompass a wide range of pulmonary, interventional pulmonary, and bronchoscopy procedures, including EBUS bronchoscopy, medical thoracoscopy, cryobiopsy, airway stenting, systemic pulmonary diseases, difficult-to-treat asthma, and chronic and acute lung diseases.
