Dr. Kler is an esteemed medical professional, currently serving as the Chairman of the Fortis Heart and Vascular Institute at Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurugram and Fortis Hospital in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. With a rich academic background, he completed his MBBS from Medical College, Patiala, and further pursued MD in Medicine and DM in Cardiology from PGI Chandigarh. Dr. Kler also obtained his MRCP from the UK before returning to India in 1989.

Dr. Kler has made significant contributions to the field of cardiology. He played a pivotal role as one of the founding doctors of Escorts Heart Institute, where he spent 28 years and served as its Executive Director for the last 12 years of his tenure. He holds prestigious fellowships from the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), UK, and the American College of Cardiology (FACC).

Throughout his career, Dr. Kler has been actively involved in interventional cardiology, having performed more than 25,000 coronary, renal, carotid, and peripheral angioplasties. He is known for pioneering electrophysiology and establishing the first dedicated Electrophysiology department in India at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kler has authored numerous journal articles and serves as a guest faculty at various national and international conferences. His remarkable contributions to the field have earned him several accolades, including the prestigious Padma Bhushan by the Government of India in 2005. Dr. Kler's dedication to healthcare and medical education continues to benefit patients and aspiring doctors alike.
